UF defenders Lloyd Summerall and Dante Zanders have reportedly removed their names from the transfer portal and will remain with the program.

Braxton Morris has joined the Gators' staff as a quality control coach who will work with the defense. He's a former professional baseball player who played football for two years in Europe before launching his coaching career in 2020.

Billy Napier announced the hiring of Kelsee Gomes as his director of sports nutrition on Wednesday. She oversaw the nutrition department at North Carolina from 2015-21.

Billy Napier has retained Paul Pasqualoni as part of his staff. Pasqualoni will serve as the director of advanced scouting and self scout. He spent the last two years as a special assistant to the head coach.

The Gators' basketball game at Ole Miss that was scheduled for Wednesday at 5 has been postponed due to COVID-19 issues within the UF program, the SEC office has announced. A make-up date has not been determined as of yet. 

Bri Wade has joined the Gators' staff as the director of on-campus recruiting and football events.

UF athletics director Scott Stricklin signed a three-year contract extension on July 22 that increased his total annual compensation by nearly $600,000.
