On Tuesday, the Florida’s Mike Lewark captured his first SEC Male Diver of the Week award.
The sophomore made a splash in this past weekend’s Georgia Invitational by being victorious in the men’s one-meter competition by scoring a 316.95. Lewark also had a fourth place finish in the platform dive with a 301.9, his best score of the season. He continued with a sixth place performance in the three-meter dive with 289.40 points.
His performance from the Invitational put him into sixth place in the SEC.
Lewark and the rest of the Gators divers will hit the pool again from January 3-5 at the Georgia Diving Invitational.
