Florida’s talented junior defensive end Carlos Dunlap will not play in the SEC Championship game.
Head football coach Urban Meyer announced Tuesday following practice that Dunlap is suspended for Saturday’s SEC Championship Game between the No. 1 Gators and No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide in Atlanta’s Georgia Dome and said his status for Florida’s BCS bowl game also was up in the air following his arrest early Tuesday morning for driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol.
