Top Five Games:

  1. Florida-Georgia Southern: This has to be the end of the losing skid for the Gators. It has to be.

  2. USC-Colorado: The Trojans dumped Lane Kiffin off at the airport and have rallied around Coach O. Expect that rally to continue.

  3. Oklahoma-Kansas State: I’m taking Oklahoma despite how bad they have looked at times. Kansas State is actually the favorite in this game (-3.5) so this is my upset special.

  4. Texas A&M-LSU: This was a tough game to pick but I give LSU the advantage here at home. Johnny Football will have revenge on his mind after a home loss to the Tigers in 2012.

  5. Missouri-Ole Miss: This was a toss up for me. I wanted to take Ole Miss in the upset but I’m riding with the Tigers. James Franklin returns this week but I suspect that we will see Maty Mauk at some point in the game.

PD:

UGA over UK: I was tempted to take UK here, except that they are no Vandy.

Ole Miss: I think the drama over the East title ends here. No waiting for A&M to take the field against the Tigers. Great run this year but letting SC come back on them did ‘em in.

LSU over A&M: Game of the week by far. Shapes up to be another close, classic SEC tilt.

FSU over Idaho: Doesn’t FSU ever play ANYONE?!

UF over GSU: Gators need this one to build momentum and build on the performance against SC with who they have left, if they are to have a chance against the heathens from the panhandle.

AS:

This is a bad week of college football with the only good games being Texas A&M vs LSU and Baylor vs Oklahoma State. It doesn’t look like I will be able to catch Seth unless a miracle happens but crazier things have happened.

DK:

Second to last week, time for some bold predictions to keep me in the running. I like Ole Miss to upset Missouri; I like Arkansas to defeat MSU; and I think that chalk wins just about everything else. Looking forward to some good football and getting out of last place!

Seth:

Johnny Football wants that second Heisman and he usually gets what he wants. I’ll take the Aggies in Death Valley. I think Ole Miss will rise up at home over the Tigers in a good one. Baylor goes down in Stillwater and Vandy edges Tennessee in a close one in Knoxville.

Richard:

All you hear about with Baylor is the offense scoring 70 points every week and lighting up football fields all over the Big 12. Best kept secret? Their defense that’s fourth nationally in yards per play allowed and 11th in total defense. That impressive defense is going to be enough to get the job done in Stillwater this weekend.
