While the Florida Gators football team was facing off against Michigan in the Citrus Bowl, the future of the Florida Gators was practicing down the road and preparing for their own game in the same stadium.
The 2016 Under Armour All-American group of athletes have spent this week in Orlando, competing against the best to become the best as they prepare to go to their respective colleges.
The Florida Gators have four current commits on the event’s roster: offensive lineman Brett Heggie, defensive end Antonneous Clayton, wide receiver Josh Hammond and defensive back Chauncey Gardner.
Clayton, Hammond and Gardner highlighted the first day of practice during the week along with several high profile and promising recruits such as Dwayne Haskins, Tyrie Cleveland, Shavar Manual and more.
