UF Recruiting: Prep Preview Week 14

Every Thursday, Gator Country will run a high school preview of all of the current commits and a few of Florida’s biggest targets and follow that up with a recap on Monday.

All games are on Friday unless otherwise noted.

Crescent City (Fla.) and Gators commitment Caleb Brantley ended their season with a 5-5 record

Armwood (Fla.) vs. Gainesville (Fla.) — Florida receiver commitment Alvin Bailey and Armwood will look to move on to the semifinals of the playoffs against an undefeated Gainesville team.

Canton (Mich.) and UF offensive lineman commitment Cameron Dillard ended their season with a 6-4 record.

Bishop Kenny (Fla.) vs. Godby (Fla.) — Gators receiver commitment Ahmad Fulwood and Bishop Kenny are in the quarterfinals for the first time in school history.

Wharton (Fla.) and UF cornerback commitment Vernon Hargreaves ended their season with an 8-3 record.

Carver (Ga.) vs. Buford (Ga.) — Florida receiver commitment Marqui Hawkins and Carver are in the quarterfinals of the playoffs.

Colquitt County (Ga.) vs. Parkview (Ga.) — Gators offensive lineman Octavius Jackson and Colquitt County will head on the road for this quarterfinal game.

Lincoln (Fla.) vs. Oviedo (Fla.) — Florida linebacker commitment James Hearns and Lincoln are 10-1 heading into the quarterfinals.

Pasco (Fla.) vs. Robinson (Fla.) — Pasco’s defense, led by Gators defensive lineman commitment Joey Ivie, is giving up under 5 points per game this year.

Winter Haven (Fla.) and UF running back commitment Adam Lane ended their season with a 10-2 record.

First Coast (Fla.) and Gators linebacker commitment Daniel McMillian ended their season with a 10-1 record.

South Sumter (Fla.) and Florida safety commitment Keanu Neal ended their season with a 11-1 record.

Mainland (Fla.) vs. Naples (Fla.) — UF linebacker commitment Quinton Powell and Mainland are looking to move into the quarterfinals with a win.

Archer (Ga.) and Gators linebacker commitment Quinton Powell ended their season with a 6-4 record.

Hillsborough (Fla.) and Florida defensive line commitment Jordan Sherit ended their season with a 9-2 record.

Brentwood Academy (Tenn.) and UF quarterback commitment Max Staver ended their season with a 9-3 record.

Glades Day (Fla.) and Florida running back commitment Kelvin Taylor ended their season with a 9-3 record. 

Gainesville (Fla.) vs. Armwood (Fla.) — Gators receiver commitment Chris Thompson and Gainesville will look to avenge last season’s playoff loss to Armwood.

Trinity Christian (Fla.) and Florida safety commitment Nick Washington ended their season with a 9-2 record.
