The Briefing Room: Feb. 7, 2010

Recruiting isn’t for the faint of heart. But for those Florida Gators fans who stuck around for the ride, it turned out to be a good year for the Class of 2010.

According to most observers, Florida signed the No. 1 recruiting class in the country, adding quality talent at every position on the roster. This group has the type of ability and potential to end up being mentioned with some of the great recruiting classes at Florida. But only time will tell just how good this bunch can truly be.

For now, it should be celebrated with great hope for the future. Hopefully it will produce as much talent as some of the other top-ranked classes for the Gators in recent history (1992, 2003, 2006, 2007) and not the one that proved to be a huge bust (2000).

So let’s take a look at this brilliant bunch, starting with the offense for Part I of the Post-National Signing Day Briefing Room.
