Spring practice wraps up for Florida on Saturday when the Gators hold their annual Orange and Blue game.
With spring practice ending, the number of prospect visiting campus will decrease some but on Monday the Gators will host a prospect.
Tallahassee (Fla.) Godby linebacker Jacob Pugh says that he will visit Florida on Monday for the first time.
“Yes, monday will be my first trip to Florida,” Pugh said. “My mom, my coach and his son are coming with me on my visit to Florida.”
The 6-foot-4, 216-pound Pugh has yet to visit Florida but heading into the visit he has a top two that includes Florida.
“Florida and Alabama are my co-leaders,” Pugh said. “I visited Alabama about three weeks ago so after this visit to Florida I will be able to compare the two visits and I should have a leader after the visit.”
With this being the first visit, Pugh is looking forward to several things including meeting the coaches.
“I really want to see the education side of things,” Pugh said. “I’m planning to major in business so I want to see the business school. I want to see how the coaches are and how they treat everyone. I want to see the facilities and what Florida has to offer. I’m excited to sit down with Will Muschamp and see what he has to say and my mom says she has some questions to ask him too. “
His mom has yet to visit Alabama and this will be the first trip she goes on with Pugh.
