Last week we saw what might be the high school game of the year in Booker T. Washington’s win over Miami Central but we still have a long season ahead of us.

Running every Thursday, Gator Country will post the game schedule for each of Florida’s verbal commits so you can keep a closer eye on the future of Florida football.

On Mondays, be sure to catch our Recruiting Rewind, where we recap each prospect’s performance and announce a Recruit of the Week award for the weekend’s most outstanding performance.

Recruits game schedule for September 13th, 2013:

Philadelphia (Pa.) Martin Luther King offensive lineman Dontae Angus

Opponent: MLK will travel to John Bartram as they try to get their first win of the season.

Casper (WY.) Natrona County defensive end Taven Bryan

Opponent: The number five ranked team in the state of Wyoming is Natrona County and they travel to take on Laramie.

Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade Madonna defensive tackle Khairi Clark

Opponent: Chaminade Madonna looks to even their record as they travel to take on Gulliver Prep on Thursday afternoon.

Miami (Fla.) Central running back Dalvin Cook

Opponent: #6 Miami Central will play host to Coral Reef as they look to get back on the winning track this week on Thursday night.

Cross City (Fla.) Dixie County cornerback Duke Dawson

Opponent: Dixie County plays host to Trenton this week as they try to run their record to 3-0 on the year.

Jacksonville (Fla.) Raines offensive lineman Travaris Dorsey

Opponent: Raines will host First Coast as they look to go to 2-1 on the year.

Davidson (N.C.) Day quarterback Will Grier

Opponent: The 3-0 Davidson Day team will travel to Harrells Christian Academy this week.

Immokalee (Fla.) High cornerback J.C. Jackson

Opponent: The 0-2 Immokalee Indians will host First Baptist Academy on Thursday this week.

Mount Pleasant (S.C.) Wando offensive lineman Nolan Kelleher

Opponent: Wando enters their game against Colleton County with a 2-1 record on the year.

Plantation (Fla.) High cornerback Chris Lammons

Opponent: Plantation enter their game against Mirarmar with a 2-0 record.

Homestead (Fla.) High receiver Ermon Lane

Opponent: 2-1 Homestead has a bye week this week.

Tuscaloosa (Al.) Kingwood Christian tight end C’yontai Lewis

Opponent: Kingwood will host Glenwood looking to improve on their 2-1 record.

Clearwater (Fla.) Central Catholic defensive end Justus Reed

Opponent:  1-1 Central Catholic will host Jesuit in a good matchup.

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) University cornerback Quincy Wilson

Opponent: University School is 3-0 on the season and will travel to Cypress Bay on Thursday.

Andrew always knew he wanted to be involved with sports in some capacity. He began by coaching high school football for six years before deciding to pursue a career in journalism. While coaching, he was a part of two state semifinal teams in the state of Alabama. Given his past coaching experience, he figured covering recruiting would be a perfect fit. He began his career as an intern for Rivals.com, covering University of Florida football recruiting.
