Miller commits to Florida

Florida has picked up its third commitment of the day as Columbia (S.C.) Spring Valley linebacker Christian Miller committed.

The 6-foot-4, 200-pound Miller named Florida his leader after picking up an offer a few weeks ago and today he visited Gainesville and made it official.

“Congrats to Christian Miller! Committed to Florida” Corey Miller, Christian’s father posted on twitter.

Miller choose Florida over offers from Alabama, Clemson and Florida State among others.

The junior standout noted a good relationship with new defensive line coach Brad Lawing as a big reason for his commitment. Miller’s father, Corey, even played for Lawing when he was in college continuing a family streak with Lawing.

Miller is the third commitment of the day for the Gators and GatorCountry.com will have more on his commitment later on today.
