IMG loaded with talent

GatorCountry.com is in Bradenton this weekend covering the IMG Southeast 7 on 7 championship where the talent level is very high.

14 teams from across the state of Florida are competing for a chance to return to IMG for the National Championship in June.

Teams come from Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa and several from the Miami area will compete, a team from Tallahassee was scheduled to compete but dropped out.

Pro Impact hails from Jacksonville and some of the notable players on the team are receiver Isaiah Ford from Trinity Christian, 2015 Trinity Christian cornerback Kevin Tolliver, and Gainesville receiver Kenric Young.

Team Unsigned heads to Bradenton from Tampa and are represented by St. Petersburg Catholic running back T.J. Harrell and 2016 Pasco receiver Nate Craig.

One of the Miami teams is South Florida Express, which is loaded with talent and is odds on favorite to win the tournament.

The Express has receiver Ermon Lane, receiver Tyre Brady, tight end Ravion Pierce, who is close to picking up a Florida offer, linebacker Richard Yeargin and cornerback Quincy Wilson.

Some notable players on the South Florida blur are quarterback JP Caruso, athlete Brandon Powell and receiver Travis Rudolph, who currently lists Florida as his leader.

The defending champion of the tournament is Team Tampa and they are represented by receiver Artavis Scott, linebacker Vincent Jackson and Wharton quarterback Chase Litton.

2015 running back Jacques Patrick from Orlando is playing with the South Florida Fire this weekend.
