Gators Recruiting: Coaches visits 12.3

This is the second week of the contact period for college coaches to be on the road recruiting and the Florida Gators coaching staff is taking full advantage of it.

On Monday the coaches hit the state of Florida hard as coaches were in central Florida and even into the southern part of the state.

Here is who the coaches visited on Monday:

Will Muschamp visited 2014 Tarpon Springs (Fla.) East Lake offensive lineman Mason Cole on Monday.

Will Muschamp and receiver’s coach Joker Phillips visited 2014 Tarpon Springs (Fla.) East Lake receiver Artavis Scott on Monday.

Will Muschamp also visited 2015 Tarpon Springs (Fla.) East Lake receiver George Campbell on Monday.

Defensive backs Travaris Robinson visited 2014 Homestead (Fla.) High receiver Ermon Lane on Monday.

Running backs coach Brian White visited Plantation (Fla.) South Plantation running back Alex Collins on Monday.

Offensive line coach Tim Davis visited Delray Beach (Fla.) American Heritage offensive lineman Rod Johnson on Monday.

Offensive line coach Tim Davis visited 2014 Wellington (Fla.) Palm Beach Central offensive lineman K.C. McDermott on Monday.

Offensive coordinator Brent Pease visited Florida commitment Jacksonville (Fla.) Bishop Kenny receiver Ahmad Fulwood tonight at his home.

Will Muschamp visited 2014 Fort Myers (Fla.) Dunbar receiver Ryeshene Bronson on Monday.

Andrew always knew he wanted to be involved with sports in some capacity. He began by coaching high school football for six years before deciding to pursue a career in journalism. While coaching, he was a part of two state semifinal teams in the state of Alabama. Given his past coaching experience, he figured covering recruiting would be a perfect fit. He began his career as an intern for Rivals.com, covering University of Florida football recruiting. After interning with Rivals for six months, he joined the Gator Country family as a recruiting analyst.
