Gators Recruiting: Coaches visits 1.25

The Gators had a busy Thursday as coaches visited several prospects in the state of Florida stretching all across the state.

Here is who the coaches visited on Thursday:

Will Muschamp, defensive line coach Bryant Young and defensive backs coach Travaris Robinson visited Port St. Lucie (Fla.) West Centennial defensive tackle Jay-nard Bostwick.

Muschamp, receivers coach Joker Phillips, tight ends coach Derek Lewis and running backs coach Brian White all visited New Smyrna Beach (Fla.) High receiver James Clark.

Joker Phillips also met with Orlando (Fla.) Jones receiver Levonte Whitfield.

Defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin and defensive line coach Brad Lawing visited Somerville (N.J.) Immaculata defensive end Tashawn Bower.

Young met with 2014 Palm Bay (Fla.) Bayside defensive tackle Travonte Valentine at his school.

Young also met with 2014 Palm Bay (Fla.) Bayside linebacker Greg Miclisse at his school.

Muschamp, Robinson, Young and Phillips visited 2014 Daytona Beach (Fla.) Seabreeze athlete Charles Nelson.

Offensive line coach Tim Davis visited Georgia Military offensvie lineman Trenton Brown.

Andrew always knew he wanted to be involved with sports in some capacity. He began by coaching high school football for six years before deciding to pursue a career in journalism. While coaching, he was a part of two state semifinal teams in the state of Alabama. Given his past coaching experience, he figured covering recruiting would be a perfect fit.
