Gamble impressed by Florida Gators tight ends

The Florida Gators put up over 500 yards of offense on Saturday in front of several of its commits for the class of 2017.

Tight end commit Kemore Gamble (6-4, 235, Miami, FL. Southridge) was one of those commits in town and he liked watching a current Gators tight end.

“They had the two picks for touchdowns and it was a great game,” Gamble said of his visit to Florida. “I love how they use the tight ends. [DeAndre] Goolsby had a good game.”

Gamble has been to two games this year in the Swamp and both time he was able to see several freshmen on the field.

“It feels good, it feels very good,” he said of seeing the young guys playing early. “It tells me that I have a shot, a chance to come in and play early and stuff like that.”

The South Florida prospect has talked about taking visits for some time now and he says he knows of two places he wants to visit.

“Not really,” Gamble said when asked if he has any more visits lined up. “I’m going to visit Miami and Bama. That’s probably the only two other schools that I will visit. They tell me that I still have a spot there and just keep in contact with me.”

Florida isn’t taking Gamble for granted though, they continue to talk up to the tight end on a daily basis.

“Florida just tells me that they’re ready for me to sign the papers,” he said of Florida’s message to him. “I talk to Florida every day almost, I talk to just about everyone there.”

Gamble who has been committed to Florida since this summer is now recruiting defensive back C.J. Henderson to join him in Gainesville.

“I’ve been telling him that the Gators is the place to be, there’s no place like home. “Gamble said. “I tell him that they need defensive backs and DBU. I think I got him locked down already.”

INSIDERS TAKE: Gamble will probably take official visits to Alabama and Miami but I expect him to sign with the Gators in February. Gamble is working hard not only on C.J. Henderson but also on his 2018 receiver teammate Mark Pope.
