Florida Gators recruiting reaction to win over Kentucky

The Florida Gators dominated the Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday and several members of the Florida Gators recruiting board weighed on the game.

Several Gators commits and targets were in attendance but Gator Country also asked others to give their opinion on the big win.

Here’s the recruiting reaction for the Kentucky win.

Gators receiver commit Daquon Green: “That was a savage performance from them.”

Gators defensive end commit Zach Carter: “Don’t wanna speak to soon because it’s the second game but we back baby.”

ç: “The swamp really impressed me with how loud it was. The defense showed me a lot and showed me that Coach [Chris] Rumph knows what he’s talking about.”

Defensive end target Labryan Ray: “The defense looked impressive and they dominated them. They created some turnovers and showed they’re DBU. I plan on getting down there soon.”

Miami defensive back commit C.J. Henderson: “It was expected but still a great win and a great way to start SEC play. The defense really set the tone of the game.”

Alabama athlete commit Chadarius Townsend: “I didn’t get to watch it but I heard the final score and heard about the game. It was a big crazy win but not surprised though. Florida has that kind of talent.”

2018 running back Lorenzo Lingard: “I liked how the Gators came out and approached the game at high rate and with the intensity they did. I liked how Coach [Jim McElwain] Mac called the running game because some of those plays we run in high school.”

e: “I loved the game, the offense did good. I really like the offense out there. Antonio Callaway and Brandon Powell are a great combination.”

Gators tight end commit Zech Byrd: “My Gators eating.”

Florida Gators running back Adarius Lemons: “The game was very electrifying and the place was rocking. Everybody here was good and everyone had a good time. Coach McElwain is showing a lot and showing that no back is a waste.”

2019 receiver Maurice Goolsby:” I was watching the receivers and I liked everything they were doing. They kept passing the ball and they were active in the passing game.”

Gators defensive line commit Jordon Scott:” Jawaan Taylor did really good and I liked how he was playing. The defense did good and the atmosphere was special in the Swamp.”

Florida Gators quarterback commit Jake Allen: “How about them Gators.”
