Florida Gators: D’Anfernee McGriff Signee Profile

D’Anfernee McGriff

School: Leon High School

Hometown: Tallahassee, Florida

Height: 6-3

Weight: 225-pounds

Position: athlete

Rivals Ranking: 4 star

Recruited by: Drew Hughes/Jim McElwain

Notable: McGriff was an Under Armour All-American but was unable to participate due to a knee injury. McGriff is a rare athlete because he’s 225-pounds, but moves like a 200-pound kid. Florida wants McGriff to play h-back and that’s is something that McGriff likes.

Quotable: “Coach McElwain has a good past history of putting up big numbers on offense. He has done some good things on offense and had a lot of success so I guess he knows what he’s talking about on offense.”
