Walker rejoins Florida

Sources confirm to Gator Country that freshman forward DeVon Walker is returning to Florida after deciding to transfer just last week.

One source tells GatorCountry.com that there was a miscommunication between Walker and Billy Donovan that led to the transfer but that the two sides have worked out the problem.

Walker played in just 25 games last season finishing with just 20 points and 17 rebounds but will battle for playing time this season.

Florida received a transfer last week from Eli Carter of Rutgers that now puts the Gators full in the scholarship department.

GatorCountry.com is told that Walker is in Gainesville and was scheduled to start classes this week for Summer A and rejoin the basketball team.
