Nesmith sets up an official visit to Florida Gators

Aaron Nesmith was one of the summer’s breakout performers. Each event with his team TMP squad provided another opportunity for him to get noticed and he took advantage of that. Nesmith is now focusing on his recruitment as he recently cut his list and is starting to set up official visits. The Florida Gators will be one of the programs that he will visit.

Nesmith has confirmed to GatorCountry.com that he will be on campus in Gainesville August 25th-27th for an official visit. The coaching job that the Florida staff did last season is something that stands out to Nesmith as well as the message they are sending to him.

The school has a very good education and the basketball program is top notch,” Nesmith said. “Making all the way to the elite 8 with Coach White is very impressive. “They have shown me that they really want me and that there is a need for me at Florida. They are telling me that I am a versatile player and that I can contribute to their success in the future. I am looking forward to meeting the staff and the players along with seeing the facilities during the visit.”

Nesmith recently cut his list to seven schools which are Florida, South Carolina, Georgetown, Virginia Tech, Harvard, Vanderbilt and Yale. He took his first official earlier this month to Vanderbilt. Nesmith is planning on making his decision sometime in September.
