The NBA Summer League just wrapped up, and with Florida Gators all over the event playing for different rosters it was fitting to take a look at how all these players performed. Here is a quick look back at how each player did this past week:
Zyon Pullin

This was an absolutely dominant performance for Pullin who was clearly too good for the event. Many players that ball out like this don’t end up playing in every game, or have their minutes dialed back, but Pullin ended up staying on the floor and being the primary initiator and he showed up. Things really couldn’t have gone much better, and he’ll look to stick on an NBA roster in the fall.
Colin Castleton

A summer league veteran, Castleton played loose and unselfishly, not being in a position where he needs to prove himself all that much after time with multiple NBA teams. Perhaps what was most notable was his three-point stroke which was on low volume, but showed he’s capable of making them if left open.
Will Richard

Will Richard is someone who knows what role will give him a chance in the NBA, and he wasn’t going to change it in Summer League and start chasing numbers. Richard defended, moved the ball, and made open shots at a high clip–and helped the Golden State Warriors win a Summer League Championship.
Osayi Osifo

Osifo has gone on to be a decent role player in the G League, and you can see how he knows his role when out there with highly talented players.
Xaivian Lee

As has been the case with Lee in a few different levels and events, there were definitely some flashes of brilliance–but overall, it was a generally inefficient showing.
Micah Handlogten, Riley Kugel, and Kowacie Reeves Jr. did get on the floor–but essentially just for garbage time action.
Alijah Martin unfortunately missed Summer League with an injury, but he’s expected to be in decent shape to get an NBA chance in the fall. Walter Clayton Jr. didn’t end up suiting up and no one really knows why–though there is speculation he might be involved in a soon-to-be-announced trade.
