Florida Gators ranked in top 10 of both polls

After opening their SEC schedule with two victories last week, the Florida Gators found themselves ranked in the top 10 of both The Associated Press Top 25 and USA Today Coaches Poll on Monday afternoon.

While the Gators’ No. 9 ranking is the same position they held in the Coaches Poll last week, Florida did manage to jump up one spot to No. 10 in the AP poll after defeating both Georgia and LSU last week by a combined 55 points.

With a top-10 ranking in tow, the Gators now turn their focus to a tough week of games, as Florida will take on two of the SEC’s best teams in Texas A&M (7 p.m. Thursday) and No. 17 Missouri (2 p.m. Saturday).
