Florida Gators basketball rolls past Oklahoma

The Florida Gators get their 16th win of the year and close out a road trip going 2-0 with an 84-52 win over the Oklahoma sooners. It was a huge road win for head coach Mike White and the Gators as they are able to cement another win on the all important March Madness resume.

The Gators got out to a fast start in the first half. The Gator bench scored 28 points in the first half with Canyon Barry and Kevarrius Hayes both had 13 points. With the success off the bench and the lack of turnovers (2), Florida carried a 15 point to lead into half.

It was another great second half performance by the Gators to completely shut Oklahoma down in the second half and never leave a doubt in Gator fan’s minds. Kevarrius Hayes finished with 20 points a season high and the Gators rolled out of Norman with another win.

After winning their portion of the SEC/Big 12 Challenge, the Gators return to conference play next week at home against Missouri.
