Five former Gators in NBA All-Star events

Five former players from the University of Florida men’s basketball team will be in Houston, Texas from February 15-17 for the NBA’s All-Star Weekend. Bradley Beal, Matt Bonner, Joakim Noah, David Lee and Chandler Parsons will all participate in the weekend’s events.

Noah and Lee were both named to their respective conferences’ All-Star teams. Noah was selected for the first time, while Lee was selected for the second time in his career. Beal and Parsons will both play in the BBVA Rising Stars Challenge, which consists of the top rookies and second-year players in the NBA. Bonner will participate in the Foot Locker Three-Point Contest.

The weekend will begin with the BBVA Rising Stars Challenge on Friday, February 15 at 9 p.m. On Saturday, February 16, the Foot Locker Three-Point Contest will be held at 8:30 p.m. The All-Star Game will be played on Sunday, February 17 at 8 p.m. All three events will be televised on TNT.
