During a rebuilding year, the Gator basketball team will be losing a piece of their ever-evolving puzzle.
Redshirt sophomore Dillon Graham has decided to transfer from the University of Florida following his completion of the fall semester.
Graham, who choose Florida over Kansas and Louisville, played sparingly his freshman year on a vetarn laden team.
His second year was stunted due to an early injury and his return was expected to be needed on a young team.
Yet through Florida’s exhibition game and then season opener, Graham spent most of his time on the bench. He logged 3 minutes versus William and Mary with one steal and 0-1 from the floor.
He will finish his Florida career with 25 games played, 11 points scored, five assists and four rebounds.
In a statement released by Florida, Graham said the following.
“I want to thank my teammates, coaches and everyone else at UF for a great experience during my time here. Even though I am moving on to the next chapter in my life and my basketball career, I will always have positive memories from my years with the Gators.”
There is no word yet on where Graham will transfer too. Billy Donovan will address the media on Sunday afternoon.
