With the season exactly one month away, the No. 1 Florida Gators baseball team released its 2021 schedule on Tuesday.
The Gators will welcome No. 21 Miami to Gainesville for the grand opening of Florida Ballpark at Alfred A. McKethan Field from February 19-21.
College baseball season was cut short in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but SEC teams plan to move forward with the schedule as usual in 2021. After voting last week, coaches and athletic directors from the schools decided to continue on with three-game weekend series and a normal midweek game schedule.
This opened the door for Florida to maintain its three-game midweek schedule with rival FSU. The teams will play in Tallahassee on March 13, in Jacksonville on March 30 and in Gainesville on April 13.
Some conference games are subject to change due to television scheduling.
