UF center fielder Jud Fabian and starting pitcher Hunter Barco were both named to the coaches' All-SEC First Team. Additionally, the Gators were picked to finish second in the SEC East behind Vanderbilt.

The Gators have been ranked seventh in the NCBWA preseason poll and 10th in the coaches poll.

The NCBWA has tabbed two Gators as preseason All-Americans. Hunter Barco was voted to the first team and Jud Fabian to the second team. 

Austin Langworthy has returned to UF as a student assistant coach, the school announced on Tuesday. Langworthy played in 198 games and started in 195 of them from 2017-20, primarily in left field.
