The Gators took the third game and the season series against the Florida State Seminoles 10-2 Tuesday night in Tallahassee at Dick Howser Stadium. The Florida offense took the crowd of 6,345, the 12th largest in stadium history, out of the game at the beginning with a five-run first inning, sparked by a three-run home run by senior Avery Barnes. Freshman Greg Larson got his first collegiate start and went 4 1/3 innings, allowing only one hit and no runs, while picking up the victory.
