The Florida Gators hosted the Florida State Seminoles for the first of a three game series in the Sunshine Showdown on Tuesday night at McKethan Stadium. Florida cruised to a 6-0 win over their instate rival, the first time that Florida has shut out Florida State at home since March 3, 1994.
The win was Florida’s 12th in a row and 20th consecutive home win dating back to the 2015 season.
