The Florida Gators will be without two starting defensive linemen against South Carolina.
Jon Greenard and Jabari Zuniga will miss the game against the Gamecocks after being listed as questionable this Monday.
Zuniga and Greenard are both dealing with ankle injuries. Zuniga suffered an ankle sprain against Kentucky on September 14 on the first drive of the game. He didn’t play in the next three games before trying to go last week at LSU. Zuniga played the first half before re-injuring the ankle in the third quarter.
Greenard injured his right ankle towards the end of Florida’s win over Auburn. The graduate transfer tried to play on it in Baton Rouge but didn’t make it more than a series before succumbing to the injury.
The duo leads the team in sacks (Greenard – 4, Zuniga 3). In the wake of the injuries, the Gators will need big games from Jeremiah Moon, who is less than 100% as well. Freshman Khris Bogle will be called upon more than he ever has.
South Carolina quarterback Ryan Hilinski appears like he will try to play on his injured knee. Hilinski suffered the injury last week in a win at Georgia. He was unable to return to the Gamecocks’ win over Georgia.
