Three recruits to watch at Friday Night Lights for the Florida Gators

Written by Gentry Hawkins:

Another trip around the sun, FNL is back yet again. A big week seems to be brewing for Billy Napier and the Florida Gators. With a huge mix of big-time 2023 and 2024 prospects arriving on campus this week, I give you my top 3 most anticipated recruits that I look forward to seeing and hearing from.

2023 5-star CB Cormani McClain –

Getting Cormani back on campus is huge with Alabama not too far behind in his recruitment, with Miami slowly making noise. I’m very curious to hear where his head is at and to see just how much this week’s visit helps Florida in his recruitment.

2023 4 star S Jordan Castell –

Jordan will be a huge prospect to keep an eye on this weekend. He has now switched his commitment date from October 1st to July 30th. That’s right after Friday Night Lights. It’ll be interesting to see if this visit will solidify Jordan’s commitment to Florida on the 30th. I personally think he’s all gator.

2023 4-star RB commit Treyaun Webb –

Adding the commitment of Treyaun Webb is huge. I’m very eager to see who Treyaun will recruit and try to get to join the class this weekend. I’d also like to see just how much he enjoys this visit, and how much it’ll help his commitment to Florida.

Compared to last year, this year‘s Friday Night Lights is shaping up to potentially be a whole lot better than the last staff’s final showing. As there are many prospects who are set to commit just days after Friday Night Lights. It’s definitely safe to say that the excitement and buzz around the program have taken a step up from years past when it comes to these recruiting events. It’ll be interesting to see what the results look like come next week after multiple blue chip prospects look to announce their college commitment.
