Terrion Arnold updates the latest in his recruitment

The Florida Gators only have a few spots left in the Class of 2021 and they have several big targets remaining as they look to use those spots on those guys.

2021 safety Terrion Arnold (6-0, 180, Tallahassee, FL. John Paul II Catholic) is one of those guys and he says he talks to Florida on a daily basis.

“I talk to them everyday, they’re recruiting me hard,” Arnold said of his communication with Florida. “I talk to Coach [Ron] English everyday and Dan Mullen every other day he text me everyday but I talk to him on the phone every other day.”

Safeties coach Ron English has been explaining to Arnold on a daily basis that he’s need in Gainesville and can contribute early for the Gators.

“The main message is they need me and they can plug me in and let me play right away,” he said on the message from English. “They said I’m the difference maker they need in the secondary. They can use me on kick return, playing free safety and even coming down and playing corner. Just being the IT factor back there.”

Head coach Dan Mullen has also explained to Arnold how the Gators can help the safety take his game to the next level.

“When me and him talk, he just tells me to let him develop me to become that guy,” Arnold said on the message from Mullen. “Plus, being comfortable there because I’m only two hours away from home, and using my face to market me. He likes me as a person and my character.”

Arnold is also a top target in basketball and head basketball coach Mike White has been recruiting him to join the Gators.

“Oh it’s going to great, he’s looking forward to seeing me on the court since he didn’t get to see me in AAU,” he said on his relationship with Mike White. “He says I’m a better basketball player than football player.”

Florida has a lot of other competition for the safety as he prepares to narrow his options down soon.

“Florida State, Miami, Georgia, Alabama and Penn State has reached out,” he said on the schools recruiting him hard. “I’m going to drop my top five pretty soon and I’m still focusing on the game in January or national signing day.”
