Stanford OL Emeka Ugorji commits to Florida

Stanford offensive lineman Emeka Ugorji committed to Florida on Friday morning, marking the Gators’ third offensive line addition via the transfer portal. Ugorji visited Gainesville on Tuesday.

As a true freshman in 2025, Ugorji played in ten games including eight starts for the Cardinals, logging snaps at both right guard and right tackle. Ugorji’s 523 snaps were the most in the ACC by a true freshman and ranked 10th in the country.

Despite being listed as an offensive tackle, Ugorji logged 434 snaps at right guard and 89 at right tackle. The 6’5, 300-pound lineman started at right tackle against Boston College in Stanford’s home opener and started the following seven games at right guard.

Ugorji posted a pass block grade of 27.6 after allowing 24 pressures and seven sacks in 302 pass blocking snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.

The Oak Cliff, Texas native only committed two penalties throughout his freshman campaign, which were the fewest among Stanford offensive linemen who played over half of the team’s offensive snaps.

Ugorji joins an offensive line class that consist of Penn State guard TJ Shanahan Jr. and Penn State tackle Eagan Boyer. The Gators are also expected to add Georgia Tech interior lineman Harrison Moore.

Ugorji will have three years of eligibility remaining and a redshirt season if needed.
