Snap counts for the Gators in week 13 vs FSU

The Florida Gators dropped their sixth game of the 2022 season on Friday night in Tallahassee. Gator Country provides Florida’s official snap counts from the game.

QUARTERBACKS

72- Anthony Richardson

7- Jalen Kitna

Kitna appeared in the game when Richardson went down with an apparent ankle injury and when his helmet came off. Kitna handed the ball off six times and kept one read option for a gain of six yards.

RUNNING BACKS

48- Montrell Johnson

31- Trevor Etienne

Both Johnson and Etienne had 17 carries on Friday night. Hefty workload for the Gators RB duo.

WIDE RECEIVERSĀ

76- Caleb Douglas

63- Ricky Pearsall

60- Daejon Reynolds

3- Kahleil Jackson

2- Jordan Pouncey

Billy Napier said there was going to be less rotations at the receiver position due to an injury riddled unit. There were almost no rotations as Douglas, Pearsall, and Reynolds nearly played the entire game. The Gators went to walk-on Kahleil Jackson more the other two scholarship receivers (Pouncey and Weston).

TIGHT ENDS

64- Dante Zanders

48- Jonathan Odom

Keon Zipperer dressed out and warmed up but didn’t appear in the game.

OFFENSIVE LINE

79- O’Cyrus Torrence

79- Kingsley Eguakun

70- Richard Gouraige

67- Ethan White

65- Austin Barber

23- Michael Tarquin

12- Richie Leonard

Michael Tarquin saw just 23 snaps in the contest. He suffered an ankle injury a week ago and that may have limited his playing time tonight.

Only 18 offensive players made it into the game on Friday night, and one of them was Jalen Kitna.

DEFENSIVE LINE

65- Gervon Dexter

56- Antwuan Powell-Ryland

53- Princely Umanmielen

42- Desmond Watson

24- Chris McClellan

20- Tyreak Sapp

17- Justus Boone

15- Lloyd Summerall

11- David Reese

10- Jalen Lee

Jalen Lee started the season as the Gators’ starting defensive tackle and ended the season receiving the least number of snaps along the D line.

LINEBACKERS

76- Amari Burney

35- Ventrell Miller

24- Derek Wingo

10- Shemar James

7- Scooby Williams

The staff primarily went to Derek Wingo in Ventrell Miller’s first-half absence. Shemar James made an impact early in the game by forcing a fumble on the first drive of the game.

CORNERBACKSĀ

76- Jason Marshall

68- Jaydon Hill

61- Tre’Vez Johnson

5- Jordan Young

Jason Marshall played every defensive snap as the staff didn’t turn to Jalen Kimber, Avery Helm, or Jadarrius Perkins on Friday night. The staff only trusted Marshall to cover FSU’s 6-7 receiver.

SAFETY

76- Trey Dean

52- Kamari Wilson

24- Donovan McMillon

9- Miguel Mitchell

Wilson and McMillon got a lot of work in the absence of Rashad Torrence.

23 defensive players appeared in the game for the Gators. Just 41 players entered the game in Tallahassee.
