SEC Nation coming to Gainesville

The SEC Network’s traveling pregame show, “SEC Nation,” will broadcast from the UF campus ahead of the No. 13 Gators’ game with No. 1 Alabama on Saturday.

The show will air live from 10 a.m. to noon. UF alumna Laura Rutledge hosts the show, while Gators Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Tim Tebow, Jordan Rodgers, Roman Harper and Paul Finebaum serve as analysts.

Additionally, “The Paul Finebaum Show” will broadcast live from Gainesville from 3-7 p.m on Friday, and “Marty and McGee” will lead into “SEC Nation” from 9-10 a.m. on Saturday.

All three shows will air live from the Plaza of the Americas.

This will be the first time “SEC Nation” has been to UF since the Gators defeated LSU in 2018. It will also be UF’s first regular season appearance on the show since the 2019 Florida-Georgia game in Jacksonville.

The Crimson Tide (2-0) defeated the Gators (1-0) in the SEC Championship Game last season and hold a 27-14 advantage in the all-time series. Florida is 0-7 against Alabama since 2009.

This will be the Gators’ biggest home game in a while, though, as UF announced last week that the game has sold out.
