Will Muschamp and the Gators coaching staff have shown that they aren’t scared to recruit anyone, anywhere in the country.
One of Florida’s top running back targets this year is Tuscaloosa (Al.) Northridge running back Bo Scarbrough who is currently committed to Alabama.
On Tuesday, the 6-foot-2, 222-pound Scarbrough had a member of the Florida coaching staff at his practice.
“Coach (Brian) White came by to watch me practice,” Scarbrough said. “ It went well, he was talking to my coach a lot after practice. He was calling me a stallion and asked my coach how I was doing so far this spring and told him to tell me to keep working hard on and off the field and that he liked me a lot.”
After Scarbrough received a visit from White at practice, he received a special call later Tuesday evening when we got home.
“Me and coach (Will) Muschamp had a Skype call tonight,” Scarbrough said. “He asked me how it went today (Tuesda) with coach White and did anyone tackle me in practice. He also asked me if I was still planning on visiting Florida in June and I told him I was. He also asked if I was killing it this spring when I was running downhill. He told me how much he would like to have me at Florida.”
For Scarbrough, when he visits in June it will be the Alabama commitment’s first visit to Florida to see the campus.
