Running back Waltez Clark commits to the Florida Gators

The Florida Gators picked up their first commit in the Class of 2025 on Saturday following their win over Tennessee in the Swamp.

2025 running back Waltez Clark (6-2, 194, Tampa, FL. Plant) committed to the Gators over Florida State and several others.

Clark is considered one of the best backs in the country for next year’s class and he was in the Swamp to watch the Gators run for 183 yards against the Vols on Saturday.

The 2025 running back has been a frequent visitor to Gainesville including multiple times over the summer and the Gators have let him know that he’s too priority for next year.

As a sophomore at Plant, Clark ran for 863 yards and 18 touchdowns and also added four more receiving touchdowns.

The Gators currently have one running back committed in the 2024 class as Kahnen Daniels is committed already.
