Rodgers has an “amazing” visit with the Florida Gators

Several of the Florida Gators’ top targets in the 2023 class were in Gainesville for the Tennessee game two weeks ago.

2023 receiver Bryson Rodgers (6-2, 170, Zephyrhills, FL. Wiregrass Ranch) was on campus and he enjoyed his time inside the Swamp for the Tennessee game.

“It was an amazing visit,” Rodgers said of his visit to Florida for the Tennessee game. “Everything at the stadium was top notch. The energy and atmosphere were top notch. You can feel it.”

While on the visit, Rodgers talk to two of Florida’s coaches including his area recruiter and his possible future position coach.

“I talked to Coach G [Billy Gonzales] and Coach [Christian] Robinson,” he said on the coaches he talked to during the visit. “They were both happy that I came up for the visit and we had a good talk. Our relationship is getting really good.”

Rodgers met with receivers coach Billy Gonzales where Gonzales explained to him how he would fit into Florida’s offense.

“He likes my versatility, that’s what he likes the most and my explosion off the ball,” Rodgers said on the message from Gonzales. “He thinks that I can play both inside and outside because I’m a dynamic type of player.”

The 2023 receiver has been on campus in Gainesville several times already and he says he likes a few things about the Gators’ and plans to return to campus again soon.

“I like them a lot,” he said on his interest in Florida. “I like the culture at Florida and they’re more than just coaches. Good people as well. I’m going to come be at the Vanderbilt game.”
