Recruiting reaction to the Florida Gators winning the SEC East

The Florida Gators clinched their 15h SEC Eastern Division title on Saturday when they defeated the Tennessee Volunteers.

Florida’s offense showed why it’s one of the best in the country and recruits around the country noticed it and were excited about the Gators winning the title.

GatorCountry asked the commits and targets to give us their thoughts on the Gators big win on Saturday.

Here’s a recruit reaction to Florida’s win over Georgia on Saturday.

 

Receiver commit Trevonte Rucker-“It’s great to be a Florida Gator.”

2022 Athlete commit Sam McCall-“It was a real great win.”

Quarterback commit Jalen Kitna- “Man, I’m excited! I can’t wait to play in this offense. I’m really happy for Coach Johnson this year, big steps for this program and specifically him.”

2022 running back Damari Alston- I’m still loving the way Coach Mullen is using the backs out of the backfield. The guys played hard and came out with the big W.”

Quarterback commit Carlos Del Rio-Wilson-“I’m excited! It’s going to be a crazy game.”

2022 running back Nicholas Singleton-“Gators played a good game, dominated both sides of the ball. Good win for the Gators.”

2023 athlete Cormani McClain-“It was a great win and I’m very amazed and feel like they can go all the way.”

Linebacker Trevin Wallace-“My reaction is that them boys earned it, they put hard work and dedication in to it and over came adversity with the pandemic going on they didn’t let that stop them from playing hard

2022 receiver Tyler Morris-“It shows they definitely deserve to be looked at as one of the top teams in the country and really have earned it.”

2022 quarterback Braden Davis-“It was great to see Florida continue to do what they’ve done all season. Trask was able to get the ball into his playmaker’s hands and let them go to work. I’m looking forward to seeing them play Alabama soon.”

2022 quarterback MJ Morris-“I wasn’t too surprised about it. They’ve been dominating all year against the teams they’ve been playing.”
