Recruiting reaction to the Florida Gators win over LSU

The #22 Florida Gators pulled off the upset of #5 LSU on Saturday night in the Swamp in front of a rocking sold-out atmosphere.

Florida’s coaching staff had dozens of prospects in attendance on Saturday to watch the game and several others watched from home.

2020 offensive line target Miller Merriweather Lewis-“It was a great game. UF’s defense did their job.”

 

2020 defensive back target Rashad Torrence-“This is a huge win for the Gators. The stadium was crazy loud! I loved every minute of it.”

2020 offensive lineman Zane Herring-“It was a great, electric game and a great win for the Gators. It was the loudest, I’ve heard it at Ben Hill Griffin.”

2020 receiver EJ Williams-“It honestly shocked me, I didn’t go into the stadium thinking Florida was going to win but they had a slow start on offense and gradually picked it up and dominated on defense.

2020 offensive line target Tate Johnson-“The atmosphere was absolutely insane. The fans packed the house and stayed the whole game. The Swamp is the loudest stadium I’ve been in so far, when they caught that late pick six, they went insane. It was a great experience.”

2020 receiver target Michael Redding-“It was a great win for Florida especially on the defensive side of the ball.”

2020 running back Jordon Simmons-“I was happy they won, they came out there and made big plays when needed to get the win.”

Andrew always knew he wanted to be involved with sports in some capacity. He began by coaching high school football for six years before deciding to pursue a career in journalism.
