Recruiting reaction for the Florida Gators win over South Carolina

The Florida Gators’ offense showed up in a big way again on Saturday as the Gators knocked off South Carolina at home.

This was the first game in the Swamp where it would usually be full of recruits but due to the dead period, recruits aren’t able to visit this year.

GatorCountry asked the commits and targets to give us their thoughts on the Gators’ big win on Saturday.

Here’s a recruit reaction to Florida’s win over South Carolina on Saturday.

Safety commit Donovan McMillon-“Real excited to see both the offense and defense playing at such an elite level! If they keep playing like, I don’t see anyone in the SEC beating them… Go Gators!

2022 safety target Kamari Wilson-“The Gators have been showing they’re one of the best teams in the nation.”

Quarterback commit Jalen Kitna-“I didn’t get to watch it cause I was in film and recovery from last night’s game but I already know the offense turned up. We got a bunch of playmakers doing their thing.

Tight end Nick Elknis-“Oh yeah, once again impressed with the offense and how they’re getting Kyle Pitts the ball. As a tight end now I know I’m going to the premier spot for the position.”

Running back Damari Alston-“Great team win. Everyone looked good, the offense and defense. The run game was going too.”

Quarterback commit Carlos Del Rio-“Pitts and Toney are beast and that offense looking good.”

Auburn offensive line commit Caleb Johnson-“It’s definitely a great win for the Gators and I’m looking forward to next week.”

2023 quarterback target Dylan Longergan-“It was good to see them win. I didn’t see much of the game though.”

Defensive tackle target Tunmise Adeleye-“Good game saw some defensive improvement looking forward to next weeks game against A&M in college station.”
