The Florida Gators have wrapped up fall camp and are transitioning into game-week preparation. Early next week, Florida will release its first depth chart of the 2026 season.

Florida named Aaron Philo its starting quarterback earlier this week. Tramell Jones Jr. will begin the season as the backup, while either Aidan Warner or Will Griffin will serve as the third-string quarterback.
Running back
RB1: Jr. Jadan Baugh
RB2: So. Duke Clark OR Sr. (6th yr.) Evan Pryor
RB3: Sr. London Montgomery OR SO. Bryon Louis
Notes and analysis
The Gators’ running back room is deep and talented. Jadan Baugh will lead the way, but Duke Clark and Evan Pryor should see plenty of action as well.
Clark is probably Baugh’s true backup because he’s the better runner between the tackles. Pryor will be utilized in different ways given his ability to win on the perimeter. Look for Florida to get creative with how it gets these running backs the ball, including wildcat formations and two-running-back sets.
Bryon Louis and London Montgomery have also flashed this offseason.
Wide receiver

Same story, different position group. Florida’s wide receiver unit is loaded with talent, and its skill sets complement each other very well. The top five options here are Dallas Wilson, Eric Singleton Jr., Vernell Brown III, Bailey Stockton and Micah Mays Jr. The others will likely be on the outside looking in when it comes to playing time. There’s still a lot of talent in that second tier, with TJ Abrams and Justin Williams knocking on the door.
Tight end
TE-Y: Sr. Lacota Dippre, Sr. Evan Chieca, Fr. Heze Kent
TE-H: Jr. Luke Harpring OR Jr. Amir Jackson, So. Micah Jones
Notes and analysis
Lacota Dippre is Florida’s best blocking tight end, and he likely starts at the inline tight end position as a result. Luke Harping and Amir Jackson are the team’s best vertical threats. Predicting playing time with this group is almost impossible, as it will depend heavily on the formations Florida uses. Evan Chieca is also a good blocker with a high motor.

Florida seems settled on its starting five, but Jon Sumrall says the Gators will play a number of players over the first two weeks. Look for Rod Kearney to get early playing time at guard, while Eagan Boyer and Caden Jones get opportunities at the tackle spots.
