The Florida Gators already have two receivers committed for the Class of 2020 but they’re looking to add a few more to the class.
One guy that visited Florida on Friday was receiver Kentron Poitier (6-3, 205, Miami, FL. Palmetto) who worked out for the coaching staff on Friday.
“It was nice, there was great competition out there,” Poitier said of the visit to Florida on Friday.
Poitier recently named a top six that included the Gators and he says a lot of that is because of the coaching staff in Gainesville.
“I like the relationship I have with the coaches,” he said on what he likes about Florida. “My coaches have a close relationship with them too and they have a good receiver core.”
While on campus, Poitier got the chance to talk with several coaches including receivers coach Billy Gonzales.
“I talked to most all of them,” Poitier said of the coaches he talked to from Florida on Friday. “Coach Gonzales said he likes my game and likes how I get to the top of route and break down.”
Florida commit Gervon Dexter knows Poitier well and was recruiting him but the Gators also had another commit recruiting the receiver.
“A few of them were talking to me,” he said on recruits recruiting him to Florida. “The receiver that’s committed for 2020 said he liked me and what me out there with them.
INSIDERS TAKE: Poitier says he’s unsure of what visits he will take next but he has already taken an official visit to Syracuse.
