The Florida Gators hosted transfers on campus this weekend as the coaching staff looks to improve the roster heading into the spring.
Penn State offensive line transfer Eagan Boyer (6-8, 302) visited Gainesville this weekend as he was coached last year by new offensive line coach Phil Trautwein.
Boyer who is redshirt freshman played in all 13 games this past year including starting four games for Penn State.
The offensive lineman is a tackle and that’s a major position of need for the Gators who lost both tackles from this past season.
Boyer is considered one of the top portal lineman has a great relationship with Trautwein.
The Gators are expected to add at least three offensive linemen in the transfer portal with two of those guys being tackles.
