Orange and Blue spring game scoring recap

The Florida Gators held their annual Orange and Blue spring game on Saturday afternoon to wrap up the spring portion of the season.

Team Orange was awarded 3 points due to winning a portion of practice on Thursday.

Team Blue was led by Graham Mertz who had a good game through the air as he connected with receiver Tre Wilson for over 100 yards in the game.

Team Orange was led by DJ Lagway who had two touchdowns in the first half and running back Jadan Baugh had an impressive debut for the Gators.

First Quarter:

Blue 3, Orange 3– 31-yard field is good by Trey Smack with 2:40 to go.

Scoring Drive: 17 plays for 59 yards, 10:15 time of possession.

 

Second Quarter:

Orange 10, Blue 3– 22-yard touchdown pass from DJ Lagway to Aidan Mizell with 14:55 to go.

Scoring Drive: 7 plays for 70 yards, 2:45 time of possession.

 

Orange 10, Blue 6– 38-yard field goal is good by Trey Smack with 11:59 to go.

Scoring Drive: 6 plays for 55 yards, 2:56 time of possession.

Blue 13, Orange 10– 60-yard touchdown pass from Graham Mertz to Tre Wilson with 1:38 to go.

Orange 17, Blue 13– 5-yard touchdown pass from DJ Lagway to Taylor Spierto with 7 seconds to go.
