Offensive lineman Yousef Mugharbil has entered the transfer portal

Gator Country has learned that redshirt freshman Yousef Mugharbil has entered the transfer portal.

Mugharbil took to social media to announce his decision.

“I would like to thank Coach Mullen, Coach Hevesy, and Coach Brewster for giving me the opportunity to play at the University of Florida. I also want to thank Coach Napier, Coach Sale, and Coach Stapleton for my further development as a player. With that being said, I will be entering the transfer portal with three years of eligibility,” Mugharbil wrote on a Twitter graphic.

The 6-5, 330 offensive lineman out of Murphy High School in North Carolina was a four-star recruit in Florida’s 2021 class. He committed to Florida over Arkansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, Penn State, and Tennessee.

Mugharbil did not record a single snap throughout his two seasons at Florida.
