Several members of the Florida Gators recruiting class were on campus on Tuesday checking in with the coaching staff and getting a tour of the campus.
Defensive end commit Francois Nolton (6-4, 225, Miami, FL. Edison) was one of those commits on campus and he enjoyed his first time on campus in over a year.
“It was great, I loved it,” Nolton said of his visit to Florida. “I checked out some of the campus, then I went in the locker room and took some pictures.”
While on campus Nolton had several coaches around him at all times and the defensive end enjoyed it.
“It was good,” he said on hanging out with the coaches on Tuesday. “I loved it, I was with Coach [Dan] Mullen, Coach Tim [Brewster] and Coach [David] Turner.”
The message from the coaching staff has been pretty simple and to the point for Nolton as to where he’s wanted at on defense.
“How they can’t wait to get me up here again,” Nolton said on the message from the staff. “They want me to have moves and play the strong defensive end.”
Next up for Nolton will be a visit to the Gators’ archrival but soon after that visit, the defensive end will return to Gainesville.
“June 6th,” he said on when he plans to visit Florida State. “I’m coming back here [Florida] on June 9th for camp. I don’t know yet [on when he will officially visit UF].”
Nolton says after seeing everything on Tuesday in Gainesville that he’s solid to the Gators for a few reasons.
“Yes,” Nolton said on if he remains solid to Florida and what makes him solid. “Seeing the whole campus and how they spoke about the school.”
