NFL Draft: Devin Moore selected 114th overall by Dallas Cowboys

Florida Gators cornerback Devin Moore has been selected 114th overall by the Dallas Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

With Moore’s selection, Florida has now had 384 players drafted all-time, including 296 since 1967. Those 384 selections rank 10th all-time among college programs.

Moore becomes the 18th Florida cornerback drafted since 1967.

The 6-foot-3, 198-pound cornerback made an immediate impact in Gainesville in 2022, logging 167 snaps over five games as a true freshman before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury.

That marked the start of a frustrating run of injuries for Moore, who played just 19 games over three seasons without ever receiving a redshirt.

Talent was never the issue for Moore. In 2023, Moore allowed just five receptions for 30 yards on 12 targets. He recorded three pass break ups and his first career interception as a sophomore, grading as Florida’s best defensive player per Pro Football Focus.

In 2024, Moore allowed six receptions for 93 yards on 13 targets, recording two pass break ups and two interceptions.

Returning for his senior season, Moore put together his first relatively healthy year, appearing in 11 games. The Naples, Florida, native posted an 83.0 defensive grade, the highest on Florida’s defense among players with at least 50 snaps. He snagged two more interceptions, bringing him to five in his career.

Moore didn’t test particularly well at the NFL Combine, reportedly due to an injury that may have cost him a few draft spots.

WHAT THEY’RE GETTING IN MOORE

Moore’s greatest strengths are his size, length, and speed. He can physically press receivers at the line of scrimmage while also having the speed to cover ground in the secondary. Moore excels in coverage, using his awareness and ball skills to create big plays.

Moore is an aggressive defender. He has posted strong tackling numbers throughout his career, including a 10.0% missed tackle rate his senior year.

He is faster than his 4.50 40-yard dash suggests. He possesses ideal size for an NFL cornerback and excels in coverage. Moore has all the traits you look for at the next level. Health is the only question mark.
