Neville ready to visit the Florida Gators next month

The Florida Gators will host their second junior day of the year in two weeks and the prospects expected in town should make for a big weekend.

2021 receiver Latrell Neville (6-3, 195, Missouri City, TX. Hightower) is one of those guys who will visit and he knows what he wants to see during the trip.

“I’m visiting on March 7th,” Neville said of his upcoming plans to visit Florida. “I’m just looking forward to seeing the place and getting to meet the coaching staff. I’ve always wanted to visit them and they’ve always been a top choice for me so I wanted to visit.”

Several Florida coaches have been recruiting Neville hard and they’ve explained what the Gators like about his game so far.

“I’ve talked to the receivers coach and linebackers coach the most,” he said on the coaches from Florida who have been recruiting him. “They all like my size and speed and they use big receivers a lot so they think I’d fit perfectly in the offense.”

Receivers coach Billy Gonzales has explained to Neville just how the Gators will use him on offense and how they will get him the ball.

“The x receiver,” Neville said on where Gonzales wants him to play. “They see me as a left wideout to go get the deep ball to stretch the field and quick stuff as well. I love it and I feel like it’s the perfect for me.”

Neville has talked a lot about his interest in the Gators and despite never visiting Gainesville; the receiver says he knows a lot about the program.

“It’s Florida,” he said on what he likes about the Gators. “I’ve grown up liking them and I like everything about them.”

The Gators are one of just a many of schools that are recruiting Neville hard as he’s hoping to make a decision before his senior year.

“Oklahoma, Virginia Tech, Penn State, Arkansas, Florida, Texas and USC,” Neville said on his top schools. “I want to make a decision by the end of the summer.”
