Medlock flips from Cincinnati to the Florida Gators

The Florida Gators picked up their 17th commitment of the Class of 2025 on Monday from a visitor who visited the Gators this past weekend and also their second commitment of the day.

Offensive lineman Jahari Medlock (6-6, 278, Riverdale, GA. Charles Drew) flipped his commitment from Cincinnati to Florida on Monday just one day after visiting Gainesville.

“I’m excited to announce that I will be attending the University of Florida in spring 25,” Medlock tweeted.

Medlock had been committed to Cincinnati since June but took an official visit to Gainesville in October after picking up an offer from the Gators.

The offensive lineman has remained a top priority for the Gators since then and the coaching staff went and visited him earlier this month at his school.

Medlock who plays both offensive and defensive line in high school is a guy that the Gators like a lot at the tackle position.

With the commitment from Medlock, the Gators now have two offensive line commits in the class as he joins Daniel Pierre Louis in the class.

Florida is still recruiting Auburn offensive line commit Tavaris Dice, Florida State offensive line commit Solomon Thomas, JUCO offensive lineman Matthew Lefeau and Simona Fuailetolo as they look to add at least two more linemen in the class.
