McClain calls the Florida Gators his dream school

Last week, the Florida Gators coaching staff sent a few offers to underclassmen including a few in the state of Florida.

2023 athlete Cormani McClain (6-1, 170, Lakeland, FL. Lake Gibson) was one of those guys who heard from the coaching staff.

“Coach Torrian Gray offered me,” McClain said on the coach who offered him last week. “We talked about my education and if I commit to Florida and many things they do differently from different schools and he asked me things about my school and my education.”

McClain calls his Florida offer a big one to him because of several reasons as the 2023 athlete was surprised by the news.

“This is something really big to me, my dream school offering me is crazy,” he said on what this offer means to him. “I love Florida and I wish to attend Florida but I’ve got years to accomplish my education.”

Defensive back coach Torrian Gray explained to McClain where he would play at if he picked Florida for college.

“He was telling me I will be a perfect fit for them,” McClain said on what Gray told him. “He said both offensively and defensively since I’m a 6-2 athlete.”

McClain calls Florida his dream school, as he likes what the Gators can offer both on and off the field.

“I think Florida is a perfect school to attend,” he said on what he knows and likes about Florida. “They have a great team to join as well and I really want to know more about their history.”

Next up for McClain is hopefully a visit to Gainesville as two other schools are also recruiting the athlete hard.

“I plan to visit as soon as I can,” McClain said. “Kentucky and Florida State have also been talking to me.”
