Knijeah Harris commits to the Florida Gators over Texas A&M

The Florida Gators picked up their third commitment of the 2023 recruiting class on Saturday when an in-state lineman committed to the Gators.

Offensive lineman Knijeah Harris (6-3, 335, Bradenton, FL. IMG) committed to Florida over Miami, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M on Saturday.

Harris visited Gainesville multiple this spring and he likes the emphasis that Billy Napier is putting on the offensive line by having multiple coaches for the position.

“It’s big to me,” Harris said on having two offensive line coaches. “I know how much they care about the position and they’re making sure it’s important.”

While on campus this spring, the Gators offensive line coaches Rob Sale and Darnell Stapleton explained to Harris just how he would fit into the line.

“They think I can play both center or guard,” he said on where the staff wants him at. “They like the versatility that I have.”

Harris is the first of what’s expected to be a big offensive line class as the staff wants five to six linemen in the class.

The IMG lineman joins athlete commit Aaron Gates and receiver commit Tyree Patterson as commits in the 2023 class for Billy Napier and the Florida Gators staff.
